Tsililis Terres; a boutique winery and distillery at Meteora, Greece.
Inspired by terroir , loyal to Greek grape varieties , fond of uniqueness.

After years of experience and scientific knowledge on distillation and still & sparkling winemaking, in Bordeaux (France), Conegliano (Italy), Meteora (Greece) and studying wine & spirit tasting all-over-the-world, I decided to create my own winery at Sarakina, Meteora. Inspired by the view of the gigantic rocks of Meteora, the mystery of the paleolithic Theopetra Cave and by the uniqueness of the schist subsoil and the shallow limestone clay soil, all I want is to make wines and spirits that condense the very soul of my homeland.

The vineyards face the mountains of Koziakas and Pindos, from where they receive cool north-western winds, and they are surrounded by the tributaries of Pinios and Lithaios. The area’s mesoclimate is continental with high sunshine, heavy winters with frequent snowfall and hot, dry summers. The subsoil is schist and the soil is clay-limestone (grey clay), which results in the characteristic minerality and depth of the wines.

Tsililis  Terres is dedicated to premium wines inspired by the unique terroir, devoted to indigenous grape varieties such as Limniona, Xinomavro, Assyrtiko and Malagouzia. The wines get deep, mineral and multilayered.
