WINGCLIPPER is a genre bending short film .
It is my second short film. A blend of sci-fi, giallo, retrofuturistic, thriller film about the female psyche that could take place in a dream city in early 60’s US but it could also take place in those new gated -only-a-class-uber-rich neighborhoods in the very near future.
It’s about Stardust , a doll-like wife and mother, feels suffocated in the perfect, yet male-centric city of Funcyland . Through reveries and fantasies, she is led to extreme actions –against social etiquette- in search of her true self, outside her golden cage.
